Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 970 over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to June 27, 2025, amount to approximately 1,016,720 personnel, with 970 troops eliminated in the past 24 hours.

This was reported on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to Ukrinform.

Additional Russian military losses over the past day include: 10,969 (+1) tanks, 22,896 (+4) armored combat vehicles, 29,630 (+13) artillery systems, 1,425 (+0) MLRS (multiple launch rocket systems), 1,188 (+0) air defense systems, 416 (+0) aircraft, 337 (+0) helicopters, 42,240 (+87) tactical UAVs, 3,388 (+0) cruise missiles,  28 (+0) warships/boats, one (+0) submarine, 53,284 (+89) vehicles and fuel tanks, 3,921 (+0) units of special equipment.

The figures are being clarified and may be updated.

As Ukrinform previously reported, as of 22:00 on June 26, Ukrainian defense forces engaged in 139 combat clashes with Russian invaders along the front line.
