Soldiers from the “Brotherhood” unit of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence carried out swift and effective raids into Russian rear positions during the spring campaign in the Kupiansk sector.
According to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, which released archival footage of the operations, the Brotherhood unit—together with supporting forces—conducted a series of stabilization measures that forced Russian troops to retreat with losses.
The unit has carried out 12 successful raids deep behind enemy lines and conducted over 2,000 combat drone missions.
Intelligence officers also reported capturing five invaders to replenish Ukraine’s prisoner exchange fund.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled Russian assault operations near Petropavlivka, Kupiansk, and Pishchane in the Kharkiv region.
