As a result of a massive Russian attack in Derhachi, Kharkiv region, a factory and its warehouses, where food products were stored, were destroyed.
This was reported on Telegram by Vyacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi city military administration, according to Ukrinform.
“Today, at around 1:20 a.m., Derhachi came under a massive attack by Russian ‘Shaheds’. The occupiers struck the city seven times, hitting the warehouses of a civilian enterprise where various food products were stored, including mayonnaise, seeds, water, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, dog and cat food, etc.,” the post says.
According to Zadorenko, the enterprise was completely destroyed.
“Rescuers from the State Emergency Service extinguished the fire that broke out at the site of the strikes, but the enterprise suffered critical damage — it is practically destroyed,” the official said.
Cars, private homes, and administrative buildings were also damaged, including local branches of the Pension Fund, the State Treasury Service, and the Derhachi Public Library.
“Miraculously, there were no casualties. Currently, representatives of the Derhachi Humanitarian Center are distributing OSB boards to preserve damaged windows in buildings, and volunteers are helping with preliminary repairs,” said the head of the CMA.
As reported, six settlements in the Kharkiv region were hit by Russian strikes yesterday, killing two people and injuring eight. In the Kharkiv district, a service station, a private house, six cars (Pisochyn), two warehouse buildings, and the windows of a multi-story building (Derhachi) were damaged.
