Russian attack on Stepnohirsk community injures two energy workers, damages power lines

Russian forces attacked Stepnohirsk community near Zaporizhzhia, injuring utility workers and leaving parts of the area without electricity or communication.

Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov reported the incident on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“By artillery strikes and FPV drones, Russian forces are attempting to destroy the infrastructure of this frontline community. A mobile repair crew came under fire. Their vehicle was damaged, and the workers suffered acoustic trauma,” Fedorov wrote.

According to him, two energy workers sustained concussions, a high-voltage transmission line was damaged, and several settlements were left without electricity, internet, or mobile connection.

As reported earlier, on June 24 in Zaporizhzhia region, Russian drones attacked a team from Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo, injuring one employee.
