Currently, apart from periodic Russian missile and drone attacks, there is no other military threat to the city of Dnipro.
This was stated by Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, commenting to journalists on information about the enemy’s advance towards the Dnipropetrovsk region during an event to award participants in the Magura project.
“For the city of Dnipro, apart from the missile and drone strikes that you have seen, there is no other threat. It is clear that there has been fighting along the borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region from the southeast for quite some time, which is nothing new,” he said.
Earlier, Major Viktor Trehubov, spokesman for the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Forces, reported that fighting remains intense in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Forces, with the Russian army continuing its attempts to reach the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
