Air defense forces destroyed 79 out of 114 Russian drones.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Starting at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, the Russians attacked Ukraine with four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Kursk region and 114 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of dummy drones from the following directions: Briansk, Shatalovo, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

As of 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, air defense forces had destroyed 79 drones in northern, eastern, and southern Ukraine. Forty were shot down with firepower, and 39 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.

UAV hits were recorded in 14 locations, as well as crashes in two locations.

As reported by Ukrinform, Sloviansk was attacked by Russian drones on the night of July 2. There were hits on the Nova Poshta terminal.
