Russian drone strike kills two, injures eleven in Poltava

A Russian drone strike on Poltava on July 3 killed two people and injured 11 others.

Volodymyr Kohut, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.

“The enemy attacked the Poltava community on July 3. A fire broke out at the site, and civilian infrastructure sustained damage. According to preliminary data, unfortunately, two people were killed and 11 were injured,” he wrote.

Emergency services are currently operating at the scene.

As earlier reported, Russian forces targeted the Poltava united city recruitment and social support center with attack drones. Casualties, including among civilians, have been confirmed.
