On July 3, Ukrainian forces successfully struck the command post of Russia’s 8th Combined Arms Army for the second time this week.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the strike via Facebook.
In addition, Ukrainian defenders targeted the command post of the Russian Armed Forces’ 20th Motor Rifle Division, located in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region.
Enemy losses are currently being assessed.
“Our continued precision strikes significantly reduce the enemy’s ability to plan and conduct operations in the region. All efforts aimed at continuing the occupation of sovereign Ukrainian territory will be met with precise retaliation and come at a high cost to the enemy,” the General Staff said.
Ukrainian forces will continue to systematically dismantle the command structure of the aggressor’s armed forces.
“Ukraine will continue the fight until all Russian troops are withdrawn from the sovereign territory of our state and a just and lasting peace is restored,” the General Staff said.
