The prayer book for Ukrainian intelligence officers was published by military chaplains of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
According to Ukrinform, the Main Intelligence Directorate announced this on Facebook.
The collection of prayers, created to provide spiritual support to Ukrainian military intelligence officers, was presented by Father Kostiantyn Kholodov, head of the Military Chaplaincy Service of Military Intelligence.
“We are fighting an enemy who seeks to poison our souls and break our faith. Protecting the spiritual peace of soldiers means protecting each and every one of us,” he emphasized.
The chaplain presented the first three copies of the prayer book to the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, the director of the Department of Active Operations, Brigadier General with the call sign “Philosopher,” and the commander of the 10th Special Forces Detachment named after Major General Maksym Shapoval.
It is noted that the collection was compiled with the blessing of the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine.

The prayer book contains more than 60 prayers designed to strengthen morale, maintain inner balance, and satisfy the spiritual needs of Ukrainian reconnaissance soldiers who face the enemy every day on the most dangerous sections of the front line.
One of the central prayers in the collection is the “Prayer of the Ukrainian Scout” — an appeal to God for strength, endurance, wisdom, and protection in the performance of combat missions.
As reported by Ukrinform, participants in the Magura naval drone project of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense were awarded diplomas from the Ukrainian Book of Records.
