Overnight on July 8, Ukrainian air defense forces neutralized 34 out of 54 Russian drones.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Starting at 12:30 on Tuesday, July 8, Russia launched an attack on Ukraine using four surface-to-air guided missiles (S-300/400) from Kursk region and 54 strike UAVs, including Shahed-type drones and various types of decoy drones, launched from Kursk, Oryol, and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea).
As of 8:00, July 8, Ukrainian air defense had destroyed 34 drones over the northern and southern regions of the country. 26 drones were shot down by firepower, while eight were lost or suppressed by electronic warfare (EW) systems.
Strikes were confirmed in five locations.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, during an attack by Russian drones in Mykolaiv, explosions were heard; as a result of the strike, a fire broke out in the suburb, and one person was injured.
