
Russian forces carried out a drone strike on a vehicle in central Kherson, injuring two civilians.
According to Ukrinform, the Kherson City Military Administration announced this on Telegram.
“At around 08:30, Russian occupiers used a drone to strike a car in the city center of Kherson. A 51-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man sustained blast and shrapnel injuries,” the post reads.
The victims were hospitalized in moderate condition.
Additionally, the military administration reported that shelling in the city’s Korabelnyi district damaged the trolleybus contact line, temporarily halting service on Route 4. Repair crews from Khersonelectrotrans are currently working to restore operations.
According to the statement, three settlements in the Kherson community came under attack over the past 24 hours, including Kherson, Antonivka, and Sadove. The assaults involved Russian aircraft, artillery, and drones.
Civilian and social infrastructure suffered damage, including apartment buildings, private homes, an outbuilding, and a garage.
The attacks in the Kherson community left one person dead and two others injured.
