174 clashes reported on the frontline

A total of 174 combat engagements occurred along the frontline on 10 July, with Russian forces attempting 44 assaults in the Pokrovsk sector and losing more than 200 personnel in the process.

According to Ukrinform, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, as of 22:00 10.07.2025, the operational update provides the following details:

“Since the beginning of the day, there have been 174 combat engagements. The enemy launched three missile strikes, 65 airstrikes, fired 18 missiles, and dropped 80 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they carried out 1,171 drone strikes with loitering munitions and 3,967 artillery attacks on our positions and settlements.”

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, 21 engagements were recorded, with fighting ongoing. The enemy launched 12 airstrikes, dropping 20 guided bombs, and fired 254 times, including five salvos from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

In the Southern-Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of Starytsia, Vovchansk, and Zelene. One combat engagement is still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces conducted three assaults near the settlements of Zapadne and Stepova Novoselivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops attempted 26 assaults on Ukrainian positions near Novoiehorivka, Novyi Myr, Karpivka, Ridkodub, Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiazi, Torske, and towards Serebrianka and Hryhorivka. Fighting continues at five locations.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 enemy attacks near Hryhorivka, Ivano-Darivka, Verkhniokamianske, and towards Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian forces halted four assaults near Chasiv Yar and towards Predtechyne, Stupochky, and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy launched eight assaults on Ukrainian positions near Dyliivka, Toretsk, Katerynivka, and Rusyn Yar. All attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces made 44 attempts to push back Ukrainian units. The highest activity is observed near Popiv Yar, Myrne, Razine, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Shevchenko, Zvirove, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Muravka, Orikhove, and Oleksiivka. Four combat engagements remain ongoing. Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka sustained strikes from guided aerial bombs.

Preliminary estimates indicate that Ukrainian troops eliminated 140 Russian personnel and wounded 82 more in this sector. They also destroyed six motorcycles, 19 drones, damaged an artillery gun, three UAV control points, and seven enemy shelters.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Russian forces launched 25 assaults near Zaporizhzhia, Tolstoi, Piddubne, Myrne, Shevchenko, and Zelene Pole. Fighting is ongoing at four locations, while Oleksiivka was hit by air-dropped bombs.

In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped an enemy assault near Malynivka.

In the Prydniprovske sector, Russian forces conducted 10 unsuccessful attacks against Ukrainian positions.

In other sectors, the situation remains largely unchanged.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Germany expressed willingness to procure additional Patriot systems from the United States for Ukraine.
