Kharkiv suffered massive drone attack: Factory is on fire, casualties reported

As a result of a massive attack by Russian drones in one of the districts of Kharkiv, a fire broke out at a civilian enterprise, and there are casualties.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, on Telegram.

“The night attack by the Shaheds on the city lasted 14 minutes. During this time, the enemy struck the Kyiv District of Kharkiv 16 times,” he wrote.

According to preliminary information, several enemy drones were shot down by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Earlier, the mayor reported that the enemy had attacked a civilian enterprise in Kharkiv, causing a fire at the site of the strikes.

In addition, the Head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that at least 17 explosions were heard in Kharkiv within 20 minutes. Most of the strikes were on a civilian enterprise in the Kyiv District.

“The enemy initially used a Geran-2 UAV. The shelling caused a fire,” he added, noting that there were no casualties at that moment.

Syniehubov also added: “At the moment, three people are reported to have been injured as a result of the enemy attack on Kharkiv. They are being provided with medical assistance.”

Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of the movement of several groups of Russian strike drones in various regions. An air raid alert was issued in a number of regions, including Kharkiv.
