Ukraine’s Foreign Minister called Hungary’s ban on entry of three Ukrainian soldiers manipulation

Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha called Hungary’s decision to ban three Ukrainian military officials from entering its territory absurd and unfounded.

The Foreign Minister wrote about this on social media X, according to Ukrinform.

“We reject Hungary’s manipulations and we will not tolerate such disrespect for our military,” the head of Ukrainian diplomacy stated.

He stressed that “Ukraine reserves the right to take appropriate action in response”.

As reported by Ukrinform, Hungary banned three Ukrainian officers from entering its territory due to the death of 45-year-old mobilized soldier Yosyp Shebeshtenia from the city of Berehove in Zakarpattia, who had Ukrainian and Hungarian citizenship.
