
The Russian army launched an overnight attack on the Zaporizhzhia district using at least nine Shahed drones, resulting in fires and destruction of non-residential buildings. A 79-year-old man sustained injuries.
The Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Fires broke out in non-residential premises after the enemy launched an overnight attack on the Zaporizhzhia district with at least nine Shaheds,” regional governor Ivan Fedorov said.
Due to the attack, non-residential buildings were destroyed and fires broke out.
Later, Ivan Fedorov updated his statement.
“According to clarified information, a 79-year-old man was injured in the enemy attack on the Zaporizhzhia district. Medical personnel provided all necessary assistance,” he wrote on Telegram.
