Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine rises by 1,180 over past day

Russia suffered about 1,039,830 military casualties in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and July 18, 2025, with 1,180 personnel killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine’s defense forces have destroyed 11,032 (+3) Russian tanks, 23,005 (+9) armored fighting vehicles, 30,485 (+47) artillery systems, 1,441 (+1) multiple rocket launchers, 1,197 anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 3,491 cruise missiles.

Additionally, the Russian army has lost 421 warplanes, 340 helicopters, 46,549 (+135) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 55,494 (+111) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 3,932 pieces of special equipment.
