In the early hours of July 18, Russian forces launched a drone attack on the Pavlohrad district in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, killing one man and injuring two others.
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, announced on Facebook that the drones struck the Verbky and Bohdanivka communities.
“A 52-year-old man was killed. Two more men, aged 38 and 40, were injured and received medical assistance at the scene,” Lysak wrote.
A transport company in the area was damaged, and a fire broke out, which emergency services managed to extinguish.
In the Rozdory community of the Synelnykove district, another drone strike caused additional fires, destroying and damaging several vehicles. Firefighters contained the blaze.
In Nikopol, Russian forces targeted the city with an FPV drone. The extent of damage there is still being assessed.
Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down three Russian drones over the Dnipropetrovsk region during the night, Lysak added.
This morning, Russian troops also struck Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region, injuring four people and damaging infrastructure.
