CinC Syrskyi and UK’s top military commander discuss urgent needs of Ukraine’s Defense Forces

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, held bilateral talks in Kyiv with representatives of the British delegation led by the UK’s Chief of the Defence Staff, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin.

Syrskyi reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“It was once again a great pleasure to welcome in Kyiv Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, Chief of the Defence Staff of the United Kingdom and a true friend of Ukraine. We held substantive bilateral talks with the British delegation. On the agenda were the operational situation at the front and the urgent needs of Ukraine’s Defense Forces,” Syrskyi stated.

Taking the opportunity, Syrskyi once again expressed his gratitude to Admiral Radakin, the UK government, and the British people for their unwavering political support of Ukraine and significant military assistance to Ukriane’s Defense Forces.

“I am confident that every visit by Admiral Tony Radakin to Ukraine confirms the effectiveness of the Ukrainian-British military cooperation and our strategic partnership,” Syrskyi emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on July 16, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi held his first telephone conversation with the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, US Air Force General Alexus Grynkewich.
