
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces launched 3,459 strikes across Donetsk region, targeting 12 settlements. As a result of the attacks, four civilians were killed and 12 others wounded.
This was reported on Facebook by the regional police, according to Ukrinform.
“On July 17, police recorded 3,459 enemy attacks. Russian troops shelled 12 settlements,” the statement said.
The town of Kostiantynivka came under attack by FPV drones, other UAVs, and artillery. Two people were killed, three injured. At least 42 private homes, two apartment buildings, and four non-residential premises were damaged.
Pokrovsk was hit by an FPV drone, resulting in the deaths of two civilians and injuries to another.
Kramatorsk was targeted by seven drones. Six residents were injured, two private houses, 12 apartment buildings, an administrative building, and two cars were damaged. The town was attacked again overnight by drones, damaging an administrative building and other non-residential facilities.
In Myrnohrad, one person was wounded in an artillery strike.
In Andriivka, Kramatorsk district, an FPV drone injured a civilian and damaged an administrative building and a private residence.
As Ukrinform previously reported, about 23,800 civilians, including 115 children, remain in the active combat zone of Donetsk region.
