On July 18, Russian invaders shelled the city of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast with Uragan multiple launch rocket systems, killing a local resident in his own home.
This was reported on Facebook by Serhiy Horbunov, head of the Kostiantynivka City Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
“Since the beginning of the day, Kostiantynivka has been under enemy fire… As a result of enemy attacks, civilians have been wounded and killed, and private homes have been destroyed. Unfortunately, the number of victims is growing… The last strike was recorded at around 9:30 a.m. — the city was shelled with a Uragan multiple launch rocket system. A civilian who was in his own home was killed by a direct hit,” the city’s mayor wrote.
He added that the civilian’s injuries were fatal.
At least three private houses were also damaged as a result of the shelling, Horbunov added.
He once again urged all residents who still remain in dangerous areas not to delay and take the opportunity to move to a safer place.
As reported, on July 18, at around 6:00 a.m., Russian troops attacked Kostiantynivka with FAB-250 bombs equipped with UMPC modules. As a result of one of the three enemy airstrikes on the city, a 66-year-old woman was killed in her home. A 64-year-old man suffered multiple shrapnel wounds to the head in addition to mine-blast trauma.
