
Russian troops have launched drone strikes on the Sumy community, injuring three civilians.
The Sumy City Military Administration reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Today, Russian forces once again attacked the Sumy community. At around 13:00 and again an hour later, the enemy used strike UAVs against civilian infrastructure. One strike left three civilians injured,” the statement said.
All three victims were taken to the hospital and are receiving the necessary medical care.
Emergency services are working at the scene. Specialists are inspecting the area and addressing the aftermath of the latest attack.
Between the morning of July 17 and the morning of July 18, 2025, Russian forces carried out 105 shelling attacks on 33 settlements across the Sumy region. No casualties or injuries were reported.
