
There were 124 combat clashes on the frontline, with the enemy carrying out 36 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector, losing over 200 occupiers.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in up-to date report as of 22:00 on 23.07.2025.
“Since the beginning of the day, there have been 124 combat clashes, the enemy has carried out 47 air strikes, and dropped 70 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 1,174 loitering munitions and carried out 4,237 shellings of populated areas and positions of our troops,” the publication says.
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian soldiers have repelled 12 assault operations by the occupiers in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors since the beginning of the day. The enemy also carried out six air strikes, using 13 guided bombs, and carried out 324 shelling attacks, five of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attempted six times to storm the positions of Ukrainian units near the settlements of Vovchansk, Kamianka, and Dvorichna; three combat engagements are still ongoing.
Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks in the Kupiansk sector in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Borivska Andriivka, Zahryzove, and Novoplatonivka. Two more clashes are still ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 13 attacks by invaders in the areas of the settlements of Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Serednie, Shandryholove, Dronivka, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Shypylivka, and toward Druzheliubivka. Seven more clashes are still ongoing.
In the Siversk sector, the enemy carried out three offensive actions in the Hryhorivka area, with one battle still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped two attempts by the invaders to advance towards Stupochky and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk sector, the occupiers twice stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Toretsk area today. The Defense Forces repelled one enemy attack, and one battle is still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy carried out 36 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance near the settlements of Popiv Yar, Myroliubivka, Zatyshok, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, Zvirove, Udachne, Oleksiivka, Novoukrainka, Maiak, Novoekonomichne, Kotlyne, Dachne, and in the direction of Pankivka, Volodymyrivka, and Sukhetske. Four combat clashes are still ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, today our soldiers eliminated 120 occupiers and wounded 91 in this sector. Three vehicles, three motorcycles, one cannon, 12 UAVs, and two enemy UAV control antennas were destroyed. One vehicle, five cannons, five UAV control antennas, and two satellite communication terminals belonging to the Russian occupiers were also severely damaged.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian units stopped nine attacks by the occupiers near the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Zirka, Piddubne, Oleksandrohrad, Shevchenko, Maliivka, Voskresenka, and Vilne Pole, with three more clashes ongoing.
In the Huliaipole and Orikhiv sectors, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations, but launched an air strike on Mala Tokmachka.
In the Prydniprovske sector, eight attempts by the enemy to advance on Ukrainian positions failed.
Ukrinform reported that the regiment formed in Chechnya, which Russia is transferring to the Orikhiv and Huliaipole sectors, is equipped with the most modern armored vehicles.
