President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that he has reached an agreement with U.S. President Donald Trump that the United States will purchase drones from Ukraine.

Zelensky said this while speaking to journalists on July 24.

“With America, with President Trump, we agreed that they will buy drones from us. That’s the agreement. I have tasked [NSDC Secretary] Umerov, [Defense Minister] Shmyhal, and [Advisor to President on strategic affairs] Kamyshin with handling this. It’s very important to prepare this contract — a serious contract worth $10–20–30 billion,” Zelensky stated.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine’s defense export capabilities are advancing, particularly through international production lines.

“We’re moving this forward — building production lines abroad. Of course, we’d like it to go faster, but everything takes time. We’re discussing this with Denmark, Norway, and Germany. There’s a lot of positive momentum. For example, we’ve agreed with Denmark: long-range drone production lines will be established there. They will invest $100, $200, or even $300 million. These long-range drones will be produced and delivered to us during the war. The production line will be a 50/50 public-private partnership. After the war, the drones will be stockpiled for Denmark’s own army,” the President explained.
