
The number of fatalities from yesterday’s Russian strike on the village of Novoplatonivka in the Izium district, Kharkiv region, has risen to six, with three others injured.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Unfortunately, a 71-year-old man who sustained multiple injuries during yesterday’s enemy shelling of the village of Novoplatonivka in the Izium district has died in hospital. The death toll has increased to six, with three others wounded,” the statement said.
Russian forces used multiple launch rocket systems to strike the village of Novoplatonivka in the Borova territorial community, Izium district, Kharkiv region. The attack initially killed five civilians and injured three others.
