A man was killed in Kherson as a result of an air strike by the Russian army on the Korabelny district.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Alexander Prokudin, on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“For the third day in a row, the Russian army has been striking the Korabelny district of Kherson from the air. Yesterday, one person was wounded. Today’s strike reportedly killed a man,” Prokudin said.
According to him, several hits on the Ostrovsky Bridge have been recorded. Due to the damage, traffic on the bridge is difficult but possible.
The head of the regional administration added that about 1,800 people remain in the Korabelny district, including 187 people with limited mobility and 31 children. The authorities are working on their evacuation.
Currently, there are about 50 requests to leave, 18 of which are from residents with limited mobility. In addition, seven families with children have agreed to be evacuated. At the same time, there are two categorical refusals, Prokudin said.
He called on residents of the Korabelny district to evacuate.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops attacked Kherson from the air, resulting in hits in the area of the bridge, which is now restricted to traffic.
