Drones operated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) hit five Russian fighter jets at the Saky airbase in temporarily occupied Crimea, with one aircraft completely destroyed.
According to Ukrinform, the SBU reported the strike via Telegram.
Last night, drones from the SBU’s Special Operations Center A targeted the Saky military airfield, a key Russian airbase for operations over the Black Sea.
As a result of the strike, an ammunition depot at the airfield was also hit. One Su-30SM fighter jet was completely destroyed, and another was damaged. Additionally, three Su-24 aircraft were struck.
The SBU emphasized that the enemy suffered significant losses, noting that a single Su-30SM jet can cost between $35 million and $50 million.
