
In the Kharkiv region, three people were killed and ten others injured over the past 24 hours as a result of Russian strikes, including two children among the wounded.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
He stated that six settlements in the region came under enemy fire.
In the village of Lyman, part of the Vovchansk community, a woman and a 49-year-old man were killed.
Between 02:45 and 04:40 on Tuesday, August 5, Russian forces launched a massive attack on the city of Lozova, reportedly using 33 UAVs.
A 55-year-old man was killed in Lozova, and ten people were injured, including a 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy.
Syniehubov noted that one of the victims was an on-duty railway mechanic. Among the ten injured, four railway workers were hospitalized with mild to moderate injuries.
Five other people, including two children, suffered acute stress reactions, and one man was injured by shattered glass.
Railway infrastructure was damaged, and the roofs of the Lozova depot and railway station caught fire.
According to Syniehubov, the enemy attacked the Kharkiv region with four glide bombs, 35 Geran-2 type drones, one Molniya-type UAV, two FPV drones, and one unidentified drone.
In the village of Prudynka, a house and power lines were damaged. In the village of Rohan, a private house was hit. In the village of Tsyrkuny, Kharkiv district, an unfinished building was damaged, and in Losivka, Chuhuiv district, another private house was hit.
On August 4, Russian forces struck the Chuhuiv district, killing three civilians.
