The total combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to August 6, 2025, amount to approximately 1,059,270 people, including 1,120 people over the past day.
This is stated in a report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, as reported by Ukrinform.
Russian troops also lost 11,072 (+1) tanks, 23,091 (+0) armored combat vehicles, 31,133 (+52) artillery systems, 1,455 (+3) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,203 (+0) air defense systems, aircraft – 421 (+0), helicopters – 340 (+0), tactical-level UAVs – 49,767 (+147), cruise missiles – 3,555 (+0), ships/boats – 28 (+0), submarines – 1 (+0), vehicles and tankers – 57,475 (+138), special equipment – 3,936 (+1).

As reported by Ukrinform, on August 5, as of 22:00, there were 113 combat clashes with Russian troops on the front line.
