
Russian troops shelled the city of Nikopol in Ukraine’s southeastern Dnipropetrovsk region using artillery, killing three people and injuring four others.
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“Two men and a woman were killed in the artillery attack on Nikopol. My sincere condolences to their families,” he wrote.
According to Lysak, four more people were injured in the shelling, and a vehicle was destroyed.
“Details are being clarified,” he added.
Russian forces carried out around 70 attacks across three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region earlier in the day, killing one person and injuring three others.
