
President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived at Downing Street on Thursday, where he was greeted by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
The meeting was reported by Sky News, according to Ukrinform.
The two leaders embraced, shook hands, and exchanged brief remarks before entering the Prime Minister’s residence. They did not respond to questions from journalists.
No further details of the meeting have been disclosed.
The talks between Zelensky and Starmer come just one day before the summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, where a ceasefire in Ukraine is expected to be a central topic.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Berlin on August 13. Following their bilateral talks, the two leaders joined a video conference with European heads of state, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, and U.S. President Donald Trump.
During Zelensky’s visit to Germany, the sixth meeting of the Coalition of the Willing also took place. Participants discussed key elements of security guarantees for Ukraine, future support initiatives, and the development of joint projects aimed.
