
Russian forces launched a ballistic missile strike overnight on a village in the Koriukivka community of Chernihiv region, causing damage to an agricultural enterprise and several residential homes.
The attack was reported on Telegram by Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, according to Ukrinform.
“Late last night, Russian troops targeted a village in the Koriukivka community with a ballistic missile. The strike damaged an agricultural facility, along with the roofs and windows of nearby homes,” Chaus stated.
A local commission is currently on-site to assess the damage and document the losses. Recovery efforts are already underway, with support from charitable organizations assisting residents in restoring their homes and property.
Chaus also noted that Russian forces shelled 13 settlements across five communities in the region over the past 24 hours. In the Semenivka community, several civilian homes were reported damaged.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops attacked the town of Semenivka on August 12 using a drone, injuring a 52-year-old power engineer.
