On Wednesday night, drones attacked the Navoshakhtinsk oil refinery in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, causing a fire at the facility.
This was reported on the Astra Telegram Channel, according to Ukrinform.
Photos from the scene show a fire and a cloud of smoke. According to the residents, about five explosions were heard in Novoshakhtinsk.
In addition, an energy facility was damaged in the Voronezh region of Russia after a drone attack, said Governor Alexander Gusev.
According to him, several villages were left without power due to the fall of the UAV, and several passenger trains were delayed. Gusev claims that more than five drones were allegedly destroyed in one of the districts in the south of the region.
Russian Railways reported that 19 trains were temporarily delayed in the Voronezh region “due to an incident on the Rossosh-Sokhranovka sector”.
The press service of Rosenergoatom stated that power unit No. 7 at the Novovoronezh NPP had been temporarily disconnected from the grid. They assure that there is no threat to safety.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 49 drones were allegedly shot down on Thursday night. According to the Defense Ministry, 21 drones were allegedly shot down over the Rostov region, seven over the Voronezh region, five over the Belgorod region, three each over the Bryansk and Kaluga regions, two drones over the Oryol region, one drone each over the Kursk and Tula regions, as well as four UAVs over the occupied Crimea and two drones over the Black Sea.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the morning of August 11, long-range drones from the SSU Special Operations Center “A” struck the production facilities of the JSC Arzamas Instrument-Building Plant named after P.I. Plandin in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation.
