
The number of people injured in Russia’s missile strike on Mukachevo has increased to 19.
This was reported on Facebook by the head of the Zakarpattia Regional Military Administration, Myroslav Biletskyi, according to Ukrinform.
“We’ve received updated information regarding those injured in the missile strike on the Mukachevo territorial community (Flex factory). As of 12:30, 19 people have been reported injured,” Biletskyi stated.
According to him, ten individuals were taken to St. Martin’s Hospital in Mukachevo by emergency medical teams. Another nine people sought medical attention on their own.
Following examinations, six patients remain hospitalized: five at St. Martin’s Hospital and one at the Zakarpattia Regional Clinical Hospital named after Andriy Novak.
One of the injured is in serious condition. The youngest victim is 22 years old, and the oldest is 63, the regional governor noted.
Additionally, four people at the site received outpatient care for acute stress reactions. A psychologist worked with them.
As previously reported, around 04:40 on August 21, Russian forces launched a missile strike on a foreign-invested enterprise in Mukachevo, Zakarpattia region, sparking a fire. The prosecutor’s office confirmed that two Kalibr-type missiles were used in the attack.
As of 09:00, 15 people had been reported injured.
