
In the village of Kurhanne, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, a Russian FPV drone attack on the morning of Friday, August 22, killed one person and injured three others.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram.
According to the investigation, around 4:00 a.m., Russian FPV drones targeted a private residential area, causing a fire. Private homes and outbuildings were damaged.
A 59-year-old man was killed. Three women, aged 53, 60, and 62, sustained injuries and acute shock.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kupiansk District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kharkiv Region, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime resulting in the death of a person (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible and necessary measures to document war crimes committed by Russian forces.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops shelled the village of Mytrofanivka, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, with artillery, injuring a 45-year-old resident.
