During the day, from the morning of August 24 to the morning of August 25, Russian troops carried out almost 140 strikes on 46 settlements of the Sumy region, resulting in dead and wounded citizens.
According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reports this on Facebook.
In the Sumy community, several individuals were injured due to UAV attacks: men aged 63, 44, and 40; women aged 62, and 59; an 86-year-old woman who was injured; and an 84-year-old woman.
A 37-year-old man was killed, a 56-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man were injured in the Novoslobidske community as a result of an FPV drone strike.
The most enemy attacks were recorded in the Sumy, Shostka, and Konotop districts.
The troops of the Russian Federation carried out more than 20 strikes with KAB missiles,
carried out more than 10 explosive drops from UAVs, and
15 shellings from MLRS.
The enemy also attacked the Sumy region with FPV drones and drones of other types.
In the Sumy community, non-residential premises, four cars, 23 private households, a high-rise building, an educational institution, and civil infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Non-residential premises, a car, and civil infrastructure facilities were damaged in the Bilopol community, and a passenger car was damaged in the Znob-Novhorodske community.
A civil infrastructure facility and a private residential building were damaged in the Vorozhba community, and a civil infrastructure facility was damaged in the Buryn community.
In the Romny community, non-residential premises and private households were damaged.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of August 25, as a result of an attack by Russian drones in Sumy, more than 10 hits were recorded, and residential buildings were ignited.
