Air Defense Forces destroyed 47 of 59 Russian drones.

According to Ukrinform, the data was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Starting at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 25, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 59 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of dummy drones from the directions of Kursk, Shatalovo, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, Air Defense Forces shot down/suppressed 47 enemy Shahed-type UAVs and various types of drone simulators in the north and east of the country.

Twelve drones were recorded hitting nine locations.

As Ukrinform reported, between the morning of August 25 and the morning of August 26, Russian troops carried out 90 strikes on 31 settlements in the Sumy region, resulting in casualties.
