Since the start of the unprecedented invasion of Ukraine, Russia has been systematically violating all the principles of international law, all laws of war, and what is very indicative, all principles of humanity. While the Russian army keeps committing war crimes, the Russian neo-imperial machine organizes the genocide of Ukrainian people, aiming to absorb Ukrainian identity. Given the scale of Russian aggression in Ukraine, Russia has to be recognized as an aggressor and isolated politically from the whole civilized world.
Russian war crimes, such as terror, torture and mass murder of civilian population, ill-treatment, and killings of Ukrainian prisoners of war give grounds to declare Russia a state sponsor of terrorism since its authoritarian regime is now a threat not only to Ukraine but to freedom and democracy in the whole world.
