Seven people have been reported killed in Russia’s massive missile attack on the city of Mykolaiv, which took place on October 13, 2022.
The relevant statement was made by Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“According to the data from the Main Department of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service in the Mykolaiv region, salvage and rescue operations in a 5-storey apartment block, affected by the enemy shelling on October 13, 2022, continue. In general, five victims were recovered from under the rubble. An 11-year-old boy, who had been rescued, died in hospital,” the report states.
In addition, rescuers recovered the body of an employee of the State Paramilitary Mine and Rescue Unit of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service, who had been trapped under the rubble of a boat station.
A reminder that, on the night of October 13, 2022, Russian troops fired eight S-300 missiles at the city of Mykolaiv. A number of civilian objects were struck, namely a 5-storey apartment block.
