Ukraine is waiting for a reaction from Turkey and the UN regarding a statement by Russia about its withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
Ukrainian presidential press secretary Serhiy Nykyforov said this in a comment to Suspilne, Ukrinform reports.
“Ukraine did not sign any ‘grain agreements’ with Russia. The signatories are Russia, Turkey and the UN. And Ukraine has not signed any agreements with Russia, as it understands that it [Russia] almost never fulfills its obligations. Therefore, we are waiting for a reaction from the signatories,” Nykyforov said.
On October 29, Russia announced its withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
