Two Ukrainian servicemen killed in Donetsk region

Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed in Donetsk region in the occupiers’ shelling.

“The illegal armed formations shelled the village of Novoluhanske, killing a civilian and damaging houses. A total of eight populated localities in the region – about 43,000 people – were left without electricity and/or water over a day,” the National Police posted on Facebook.

About 17:20, a shell hit the apartment on the second floor of the residential building in Novoluhanske, Donetsk region. A former dormitory, currently a shopping center, came under fire.

A 51-year-old resident of Novoluhanske was killed in the shelling. The gas pipeline was damaged.

As a result of the shelling of the village of Zaitseve, Donetsk region, two servicemen were killed and three more were wounded.

Another soldier was wounded in Vodiane, Donetsk region.

As of 17:00, February 21, Russian-occupation forces violated the ceasefire 54 times in the Joint Forces Operation area in eastern Ukraine. Four servicemen received shrapnel wounds and were taken to a medical facility. Their health status is of varying severity.
