Russian occupation forces opened fire on the settlements across Luhansk region, employing artillery and Grad multiple rocket launchers.
This was announced on Facebook by the head of the Luhansk Regional Civil-Military Administration, Serhiy Haidai, Ukrinform reports.
“The Grads are now involved. Russian occupation forces were firing off all day and night. The militants shelled Shchastia, Muratove, Kriakivka, and Novotoshkivske. The artillery hit the following settlements: Stanytsia Luhanska, Triokhizbenka, Popasna, Orikhove, Zolote, Troyitske, and Lobacheve,” the statement reads.
According to the regional official, shells hit a number of households in Triokhizbenka.
No casualties were reported amid the latest attacks.
Works are underway to restore communication lines.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on February 22, Ukraine reported 96 shellings by Russia-controlled forces, including 81 involving heavy weapons. A Ukrainian soldier was killed in combat and six were injured.
