Thirty-four civilians reported killed in Russia’s missile attack on Chasiv Yar

A total of 34 civilians have already been reported killed in Russia’s missile attack on the city of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk Region.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Rescuers have already recovered 34 bodies and rescued nine injured civilians from under the rubble of an apartment block in Chasiv Yar. Among those killed, there is a child,” Kyrylenko wrote.

In his words, as of 06:30 a.m., July 12, 2022, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service dismantled about 70% of the structures destroyed. Rescue works are underway.

A reminder that, on July 9, 2022, Russian invaders struck a 5-storey apartment block in Donetsk Region’s Chasiv Yar with the Uragan MLRS. Two entrances to the house were destroyed completely. A total of 33 civilians were reported killed.
