Shmyhal assured that government will pay all social payments in full – this year and next

Thanks to the support of partners, social payments will be paid to Ukrainians in full next year.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the United News marathon, Ukrinform reports citing his Telegram account.

“Every hryvnia of the budget collected in Ukraine is spent for our Security and Defence Forces.

Meanwhile, all social and budgetary payments are made thanks to the support of partners. The government now has a clear understanding of how we will pay social support not only this year but also next year,” he said.

Shmyhal stressed that the government has paid all social payments, pensions, and subsidies “in full, is paying them and will continue to pay them”.

As reported by Ukrinform, the government expects a USD 2.2 billion tranche from the IMF to arrive in Ukraine next week.
