Ukrainian intel confirms strike on Russia’s 126th guards brigade in occupied Crimea

On August 25, 2023, a strike was launched on the 126th separate guards coastal defense brigade of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, which is headquartered in the temporarily occupied Crimea’s village of Perevalne.

The relevant statement was made by Andrii Yusov, the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate at the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, in a commentary to Liga.net, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We confirm the information, the target has been hit. This is not the first strike on the 126th brigade. As Maj. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov said in his latest interview, Ukraine can now inflict damage and carry out operations at any place in the [temporarily] occupied Crimea,” Yusov told, adding that a lot of news will come soon.

A reminder that, on the morning of August 25, 2023, blasts were heard across several districts in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
